Riding the waves- Between movement and stillness

Saturday 10 May 2008 9.30 - 16.30
The Forge, 12 Windsor Avenue Kalk Bay

Sexual energy can be a source of great bliss and deep movement in our lives. One secret of attaining this potential in our lives, is to learn to "ride the waves" of sexual energy. If sexual flow takes its conditioned course - a quick build up, leading to ejaculation for men, and then a drop - there is not much opportunity for us to find this bliss and stillness. "Riding the waves" workshops are one day events in which I assist you to explore new ways of extending and deepening your own flow, whether you are single or in a relationship.

One key to "riding the waves" is becoming sensitized to the balance between activity and resting that supports conscious sexual flow. In the Hindu Tantra tradition, Shiva is the masculine principle and Shakti the feminine. Shiva is the still point at the centre of the universe. Shakti is the creative dance of existence. In this day workshop, we will be exploring how we can use both Shiva's silent, meditative spaces and Shakti's rhythm of movement and touch to deepen our relating with the other.

The techniques we will be using include breath work, movement, touch, meditation, role play and discussion.

The workshop is open to men and women. You need to previous Tantra experience. While we will be doing a lot of couple work, you are welcome to come without a partner. You will then get the opportunity to exercise and play with a variety of people.
