Eros (our erotic impulse) is a guide to Gnosis (deeper wisdom or realization), said Plato. This talk and mini-workshop is an exploration of

• what eros and how it is accessed with awareness
• how awakened eros functions to integrate unconscious material and
• how eros catalyzes the subtle energetics of the body.

The event is for who are interested in the awakening of consciousness through sexuality, and especially for healers and facilitators working with sexuality or in related fields. Using case studies from her practice and drawing on the experiences of participants, Shakti explains aspects of the body’s sexual bio-energetics, such as

• The flow of energy between sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems
• The nature of body armoring and how to work with this consciously
• Male and female energy flows in the body
• Sexual energy flow through the nadi’s, the chakras, and shushumna
